At SHPC we seek to provide a welcoming and joyful place to explore the deeper questions of life, hope and love. We do that on Sunday morning with our Essentials Program, Music opportunities for all ages, Headlands meetings for 6-12th grades on Sunday nights, and Second Sundays with evenings of fun activities. If you have any questions please contact me, Rev. Lynn Barger Elliott.
All children (3yo-5th grade) are welcome to learn together in our Sunday morning Essentials program for children. We begin with the congregation in worship by praying and singing together. After the Children's Message, our Director of Music for Children and Youth and our teachers leave with the children for a time of singing and learning. Through music, crafts, activities and story telling - our children learn about the love of God and how to live the way Jesus leads us.

Middle and High School youth gather on the Second Sundays of every month! From service projects to Trivia Nights, Four Square Tournaments to Cake Picnics, Friendsgiving Meals to discussions on current events - it's always a meaningful way to spend an afternoon with new and old friends.

9:30–10:30am Leading in Worship
We love having youth lead in our worship services! If you are interested in greeting, reading scripture or haring your musical talent with our congregation, please contact our Director of Music, Alex Walker or Pastor Lynn.
