Book Talks @ SHPC
Join us November 12th from 6:30-7:30pm for a special evening with Ben Daniel, a Presbyterian minister, peace activist, and award-winning author living in Oakland, CA. Daniel’s work has appeared in local, national, and international print, broadcast, and video, including NPR/KQED and Living the Questions.
He will discuss his new book Grace Over Guns: Pursuing Peace in a Militarized World, and explore questions of faith, violence, peace, and what it means to pursue a more hopeful way forward.

St. Francis Christmas Pageant
We invite you to join and participate in a new Christmas pageant created by Co-Pastors Lynn and Mark Barger Elliott on December 6th at 9:30am.
St. Francis of Assisi is known for having established the first live Nativity in the town of Greccio, Italy, in 1223. This year, we celebrate that tradition together.
