2026 Stewardship - 65 Years of Blessings, Future Full of Promise

These are such exciting times at SHPC!  For sixty-five years, we have been a community where faith has been nurtured, prayers lifted, friendships formed, music celebrated, gardens grown, service for others offered, and hope renewed! Together, we have lived God’s love for all people and the planet, co-creating the future we want all of our children to inherit.

We invite you to celebrate the blessings of our past and carry them into our 65 Years of Blessings, Future Full of Promise Stewardship campaign.  

Our pledge goal is $165,000. Reaching this will enable us to:

1. Grow our ministries for children and families by increasing our program funding from $3,100 to $4,600.
2. Care for our dedicated staff with cost-of-living and benefit increases.
3. Sustain the worship, education, music, and outreach ministries that gather us in faith, joy, and service - including Wellspring, SonRise, Street Chaplaincy, and special events like Hootenanny in the Hollow.

Sometimes we are asked, how do we decide what amount to give to our church? We typically answer that question with three words: gratitude and prayer. 

As a family, we have always chosen to give a percentage of our income, ranging over the years between 4–10%. Others we know prayerfully determine a specific amount that feels both faithful and joyful. Every gift, whatever the size, truly makes a difference at SHPC. 

We invite you to return your 65 Years of Blessings, Future Full of Promise pledge card (available at church, or requested by mail ) by November 16, or you can make your online pledge below.
